New Website Helps Organization Meet Business and Communication Objectives

By first clearly understanding the business objectives of Ingalls Health System and the informational needs of patients and their caregivers, Method Engine was able to design a new website for Ingalls that helps support its organizational and communication goals.

Through interviews conducted with stakeholders at Ingalls Health System, Method Engine discovered a strong need to utilize the site as a strategic tool to increase qualified employment inquiries and facilitate the recruiting process. In addition, Ingalls wished to present itself as a center of excellence in technology and services and as a health system rather than just a hospital. This research was validated through direct research with website visitors.

Since the new site launched in 2010, Ingalls has enjoyed a significant increase in general site traffic and patient inquiries through the site. Audiences are able to quickly and easily find the information they need and subsequently are motivated to contact the organization for appointments and physician consultations. And Ingalls Health System is able to present itself in the market as a leading edge, contemporary organization. In addition, the new site leverages the latest search optimization practices to improve overall search rankings, and Method Engine runs search marketing campaigns to promote classes, activities, and key revenue generating service lines.
