Part-time Design Freelancer, Hybrid or Remote (Tampa Bay Area, FL preferred)

Method Engine is looking for a remote or hybrid freelance digital designer with 2+ years of experience. Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design, website design, or related field preferred.

Candidates should be passionate, innovative, and thrive in a collaborative environment, but also work independently. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing creative thinking, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, a firm understanding of design principles, excellent communication skills, and a desire to grow in the field of graphic design and brand marketing. 

Although the role is primarily digital design and supporting tasks, it will include a wider scope including non-digital, creative, and marketing support tasks.

Initial hours for this role will fluctuate; please estimate 8-10 hours per week to start. Note this is intended to be an ongoing role with an increase in hours. Candidates need to be available for internal and client meetings Monday – Friday from 9am-5pm CST. Hourly rate starting at $40 per hour or project flat rates. Candidates with more experience and wider skill sets will be based on fair market rates.

Contract, Chicago Area

The Business Development Lead reports to the Founder & Managing Partner and is responsible for helping to develop the methodology for researching, identifying, and connecting with potential business opportunities and prospective clients. They will help develop new marketing initiatives, assess new markets, and analyze business opportunities. This person connects potential clients with an engagement strategy that is unique to Method Engine.

  • Help modify and execute Method Engine’s growth plan with the Founder, Managing Partner and Client Engagement Lead.
  • Drive the pitch process, including helping cultivate a strategy to win, casting, and presentation/pitch approaches.
  • Lead RFI/RFP responses as the main point of contact throughout the process, including development, implementation, and vetting standards.
  • Develop and maintain an extensive pipeline of qualified prospects in priority categories.
  • Work to build prospects/contacts through existing clients and through the Client Engagement group. Seek out and support opportunities for organic growth.
  • Work with the team to help build and manage the agency’s marketing and business development materials, as well as updating the internal resource library including case studies.
  • Manage internal teams during the pitch process.
  • Develop relationships with agency search consultants.
  • Understand the business and marketing challenges of key prospects.
  • Utilize, update and report progress from the CRM.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of client service experience preferred in an agency environment with proven business development.

We are looking for a mid to senior level writer / content creator to join our digital marketing team. This role would include social media, blogs, emails, and website copy. Candidates must be strong in writing and idea generation.

You will use your content development and storytelling expertise to strategize, plan, and create fresh and compelling media content. You will work hand-in-hand with our strategy, design, and digital teams to strengthen client brands and grow target audiences.
